• LGBT Youth Scotland

Brief:

• Project management of the first ever Dumfries Pride, a community event to celebrate the diversity of Dumfries & Galloway (August 2008)

• Worked closely with the staff team of LGBT Youth Scotland's Dumfries service to ensure volunteers and the wider community had direct input, involvement and to build capacity

Result:

• Delivered an event which attracted over 600 people from throughout Scotland, who enjoyed a family fayre, dance tent, information tent, food and refreshments, and acts including Michelle McManus and Rozalla.

• Achieved over £10,000 worth of PR, reaching 23 million people through media alone
