Based on research showing that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people experience a disproportionately high level of bullying at school due to their sexual orientation, create a social marketing poster campaign which will:
Facilitate discussions within lessons and school settings
Provide an alternative point of view to stereotypes of gay and lesbian young people
Promote positive messages about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people
Be part of policies which state that homophobia is not welcome in Scottish schools
Promote the organisation in order for teachers and students to access further information and support
Result:
This poster campaign sparked debates internally and externally, including ones which took place in classrooms.
As a result, the issue of homophobia was openly discussed, allowing for young people to gain information and support.
