*As Inga McVicar (while working as the Marketing & PR Co-ordinator for Waterstone’s Ireland, Northern Ireland, north-east England and Scotland)

Over a 3-year career working within Waterstone's Head Office's Marketing Department, Inga McVicar secured, organised and managed over 200 public events, featuring celebrities and authors from all over the world.

In 2002, Inga McVicar was awarded the Publishers' Publicity Circle's Bookseller of the Year Award (awarded to event organisers in the retail side of the Book industry - as voted by publishers).
